A: About a year and a half, and loving it!

A: Community Director of Susquehanna Hall
Q: In 12 words or less, what role(s) do you play on campus?
A: I facilitate living and learning within my hall and the residential community.
Q: What aspect of your UMBC role(s) do you enjoy most?
A: I enjoy working with students of all types: first-year vs upperclassman, domestic vs international, humanities majors vs STEM majors vs undeclared majors, etc.
Q: What is the most important or memorable thing you learned in college/have learned at UMBC?
A: I learned that a person's experiences in life shape how they view and evaluate the things that are happening around that. We are constantly changing how we see things, and we have the ability to change and be changed by the perspective of others.

A: science-fiction/fantasy novels
Q: Do you have any UMBC stories, little-known facts about UMBC, favorite spots on campus, or anything else you’d like to share?
A: Students are always telling me that they mistake me for a fellow student, or parents are asking me if I'm a junior or a senior. I don't mind at all; in fact, I like surprising others! It is really nice to be considered a part of this great community, even if I have to explain my role! Students, faculty, and staff have always made me feel welcome and at home here. Go retrievers!
