A: Help oversee HLSU and do research
Q: What aspect of your UMBC role(s) do you enjoy most?
A: I like the amount of people I have been able to meet through HLSU and my major. I feel like UMBC is small enough that everyone is connected in one way or another!
Q: What is the most important or memorable thing you learned in college/have learned at UMBC?
A: I think it’s really important to get involved with the things you are most interested and passionate about. UMBC offers a wide variety of groups and organizations that can cater to this, and if they don’t have what you’re looking for—you can start it!

Q: Do you have any UMBC stories, little-known facts about UMBC, favorite spots on campus, or anything else you’d like to share?
A: UMBC has a lot of nice relaxing spots like the rock garden or even the physics building balcony. My favorite is the lake behind the Research and Technology Park. It’s really beautiful in the fall, and a great place to sit, read, and just think.
Also, the dining hall is GREAT for lunch!
