A: 3 years.
Q: What is your current title (job or student organization position)?
A: Office of Undergraduate Admissions Student Employee, Orientation Peer Advisor (OPA), and Major Definition Hip Hop Dance Troupe- Team Captain.
Q: In 12 words or less, what role(s) do you play on campus?
A: The Helper, The Engager, and The Recruiter.
Q: What aspect of your UMBC role(s) do you enjoy most?
A: I love helping and supporting others to see them succeed, it’s a type of gratification and you can’t get anywhere else. I also really like being involved in different groups and activities held on campus as well as getting others engaged in different events.
Q: What is the most important or memorable thing you learned in college/have learned at UMBC?
A: Always follow your passion. It may not be guaranteed to make you all the money in the world but it will guarantee to make you happy. Also, be open to new experiences and cultures, it’s one of the most fascinating aspects of being a student at UMBC.

Q: Do you have any UMBC stories, little-known facts about UMBC, favorite spots on campus, or anything else you’d like to share?
A: --Favorite UMBC story- My favorite story is still going to the STRiVE Leadership Retreat Winter 2010. It was an awesome experience and I met a lot of new people and became a lot closer to the ones I already knew. They are some of my closest friends to this day and I've also learned a lot about myself because of it.

--Join groups/ organizations and get involved! Do something you really loved to do and find others who are passionate about the same thing. They will not only become your fellow members but a lot of the time they will become a second family.
