The Welcome Week Service Project on Saturday, September 1st (9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., transportation provided) is a chance for UMBC students to meet friends, get your hands dirty, learn about community issues and have some fun to start the year. This is an especially good opportunity for new students to get involved in service and make connections.
Participants will work together with the Parks & People Foundation and Project T.O.O.U.R. on a community garden, playground and painting projects. Read more about the Welcome Week Service Project here, and complete the online application here. Be sure to complete a liability waiver form, which you'll find on this page. See you Saturday!
