A: Around 2 years

A: I am a Commuter Assistant for Off Campus Student Services and a STRiVEr!
Q: In 12 words or less, what role(s) do you play on campus?
A: Experience as much as I can and encourage others to get involved.
Q: What aspect of your UMBC role(s) do you enjoy most?
A: Well I enjoy getting out there and doing as much as I can on campus. I can always find something to do when I have the free time and I don't mind taking people around to share the experience.
Currently as a Commuter Assistant, I am a part of Good Morning Commuters and I enjoy helping coordinate each Tuesday breakfast with my friends Lena, Donna, and Naomi. I think that it is great that we are able to provide a relaxing environment for people in the mornings as well as give them free food. Stop by Tuesdays mornings in the commons to check it out!

Q: What is the most important or memorable thing you learned in college/have learned at UMBC?
A: Keep an open mind and always be willing to try out new things. You can always meet new and interesting people and you never know how much fun you can have until you try it out. College is the time for accepting new ideas and thoughts and culminating new ones. Staying at home or in a dorm prevents you from hearing new perspectives, so getting out a lot will help change this.
Q: Complete this sentence: "I am a big fan of __________"
A: FREE FOOD
Q: Do you have any UMBC stories, little-known facts about UMBC, favorite spots on campus, or anything else you’d like to share?
A: I didn't know UMBC had a dock and pond until one day me and a friend walked into it. It just comes to show that there's always places to see around campus. Pretty cool.
