Hometown: Silver Spring, MD
Q: How long have you been at UMBC?
A: 2 years, in my Junior year this fall.
Q: What is your current title (job or student organization position)?
A: UMBC SGA Senator. Vice President of the Zeta Upsilon Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated.
Q: In 12 words or less, what role(s) do you play on campus?
A: A scholar who harbors his own opinion of a genius.
Q: What aspect of your UMBC role(s) do you enjoy most?
A: I enjoy all of my roles differently because they all bring me closer to a different group of people. If it wasn't for my involvement on campus I would not be as culturally aware as I am today.
Q: What is the most important or memorable thing you learned in college/have learned at UMBC?
A: The most important thing I have learned at UMBC is that when you are going through your journey in college you will indulge in many new interests that will captivate you, but you must never lose sight of your original goal. Basically there will be many things to learn and things that will take you off of your path to success but you must always remember why you came to college in the first place.
Q: Complete this sentence: "I am a big fan of __________"
A: Freshboy Entertainment and SoSo Lo Records. They are my favorite local music groups.
Q: Do you have any UMBC stories, little-known facts about UMBC, favorite spots on campus, or anything else you’d like to share?
A: Well, my favorite spot at UMBC is "The Quad" because that is where I was publicly introduced into the Zeta Upsilon chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated. Whenever I walk past it I think of that memorable day. I also enjoy the occasional strawberry and creme frappuccino from the on-campus Starbucks.
