NASA Goddard Space Flight Center's DEVELOP program is looking for several interns to assist with Earth Science research projects over Spring 2014 for a 10 week paid internship, working 10-20 hours a week. The Spring 2014 term will start on Monday, January 27, 2014 and end on Friday, April 4, 2014.
Students and recent graduates will work with NASA scientists and partner organizations to learn about the use of NASA remote sensing imagery for use in ecological forecasting, disaster management, understanding water resources, and finding applications to address environmental community concerns, both domestic and abroad.
Requirements: U.S. Citizens*. 3.0 GPA minimum. Over 18. Undergraduate, Graduate Students, and Recent Graduates (individuals who have graduated with an undergraduate or graduate degree from a U.S. accredited college or university within the past two years). Those with skills in GIS, Remote Sensing, Geography, Earth Science, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Hydrology, Ecology, Environmental Science, and/or Civil Engineering are encouraged to apply.
The deadline to apply is Thursday, October 28, 2013 (postmarked).
