Under certain circumstances, CHEM490 (Special Topics in Chemistry) can be used by Biochemistry & Molecular Biology (BIOC) majors to meet elective requirements for their major.
In Spring 2013, the topics of TWO sections of CHEM490 are such that they have been approved for use toward the BIOC major. They are:
- CHEM 490 01-LEC (Reg # 4871) with Dr. Summers
- Topic: Advanced NMR Spectroscopy
- CHEM 490 03-LEC (Reg # 8286) with Dr. Garcin
- Topic: Structural Biology
The remaining Spring 2013 section of CHEM490, taught by Dr. Ptaszek, DOES NOT qualify for use toward BIOC elective requirements.
