<Title>Individual Course Withdraw/S/U Deadline is THIS FRIDAY, APRIL 4th.</Title>

    <div class="html-content"><span><p><span>This FRIDAY, April 4th is the deadline to withdraw from individual courses "W" OR change grading methods to Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory "S/U".</span></p><p><br></p><p><span>W/S/U course options count as an attempt in the class but do NOT impact your GPA.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span>If withdrawing from one or more courses will bring you to less than full time status (12 credits) there may be impacts in other areas such as </span><a href="https://scholarships.umbc.edu/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo"><span>scholarship</span></a><span>, </span><a href="https://financialaid.umbc.edu/contact/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo"><span>financial aid</span></a><span>, and </span><a href="https://reslife.umbc.edu/rlexperience/procedures/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo"><span>on-campus housing</span></a><span>. It's ADVISING SEASON!</span></p><p><br></p><p><span>Registration for Fall 2025 is right around the corner which means that you will want to plan to meet with your assigned major advisor ASAP in order to discuss your academic plan and receive advising clearance. </span></p><p><br></p><p><span>Keep in mind that </span><span>advising is MANDATORY </span><span>every semester and must be completed prior to registration for the upcoming school term. </span></p><p><br></p><p><span>Check your myUMBC email (sent on or around March 3rd) for your advisor assignment and further instructions.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span>Advisor assignments can also be found via the CNMS Advising website</span><a href="https://cnmsadvising.umbc.edu/advising-assignments/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo"><span> here </span></a><span>(by major) and via your myUMBC Profile.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span>Newly or recently declared life science majors who do not have a listed advisor assignment should contact </span><a href="https://my3.my.umbc.edu/groups/cnmsadvising/posts/null" rel="nofollow external" class="bo"><span>CNMSAdvising@umbc.edu</span></a><span> for support. </span></p><p><br></p><p><span>NOTE**: </span><span>The FALL 2025 Schedule of Classes went LIVE TODAY (3/24)</span><span>. You can begin reviewing course/schedule options right away however you will want to take note of your earliest registration date/time (based on earned credits). </span><a href="https://registrar.umbc.edu/calendars/registration-appointments/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo"><span>A comprehensive chart for all registration dates/times can be found here.</span></a><span> Initial registration times for undergraduate students will begin as early as </span><span>April 1st</span><span> for students who have earned 120 credits or more and will continue in descending earned credit order through to </span><span>April 18th </span><span>when all continuing students are eligible.     <div class="html-content"><div>Registration for Fall 2025 is just around the corner which means that you will want to plan for a meeting with your assigned major advisor in order to discuss your academic plan and to remove your advising hold.  <br></div><div><div><br></div><div>Keep in mind that <strong>advising is MANDATORY </strong>every semester and must be completed prior to registration for the upcoming term. </div><div><br></div><div>Check your myUMBC email (sent today -- March 3rd) for your advisor assignment and further instructions.
