The College of Natural and Mathematical Sciences (CNMS) is proud to host the Annual UMBC Summer Undergraduate Research Fest (SURF) to recognize summer undergraduate research at UMBC. Since 1997, summer student researchers including participants in the MARC U*STAR, HHMI, High Performance Computing (HPC) Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Site at UMBC, and the Summer Biomedical Training Programs present their summer research in an oral presentations or a poster sessions during this exciting event 

The Eighteenth Annual UMBC Summer Undergraduate Research Fest (SURF) will be held August 5, 2015 in the UC Ballroom.
