Volunteering at the Maryland Food Bank

Join CKI members to help sort and pack donated food at the Maryland Food Bank warehouse! Their nearby Baltimore office makes it an ideal place to lend a hand to our community.
WHAT: We will be sorting donated food on their conveyor system, packing assorted food kits, packing health and beauty kits, and checking expiration dates.
WHEN: Tues, February 28 from 1-4pm. We will arrive 15min in advance to check in, so we will meet at Commons Circle at 12:30pm before driving to the site.
Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes, and it's suggested you bring a jacket or sweatshirt due to changing temperatures in the warehouse. Volunteers must also be 18 years or older.
Please email Ann Cirincione at anncir1@umbc.edu no later than Sunday, February 19 if you wish to participate, since we have to sign up as a group of volunteers in advance.
