Ten UMBC Undergrads attended the 100 Anniversary Gala for the Maryland Section of the American Chemical Society last Friday at the Maryland Science Center  pictures attached).  They presented a Maryland-themed poster on the Chemistry of Crabs, which was very well received (the head of the Maryland Department of the Environment mentioned their poster specifically when presenting the Governor's Proclamation to the Section). Thank you for representing the vibrant student affiliates chapter of the department at this milestone event!
