Congratulations to Ph.D. candidate Kiranmayi Mangalgiri for winning 1st place in the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition at the Graduate Research Conference (GRC), which was held on Wednesday, March 23rd. The topic of her presentation was "Role of dissolved organic matter on UV transformation of antibiotics in agriculture-impacted wastewater". First prize is a trip to represent UMBC in the 3MT Competition at CSGS (Council of Southern Graduate Schools).
