The McDonnell Genome Institute at Washington University in St. Louis (genome.wustl.edu) is seeking underrepresented students for the Opportunities in Genomics Research (OGR): Undergraduate Scholars program. OGR Undergraduate Scholars is a 10 - week summer program that includes mentored research and enrichment activities such as GRE and graduate school preparation.
DESCRIPTION:
Programs are small and familial and provide individualized attention is a rigorous research environment. Alumni have been accepted to PhD programs at schools such as: Harvard, UC Berkeley, Johns Hopkins, Yale and of course Washington University in St. Louis.

Areas of research that our students have pursued as a part of OGR include: genomics, bioinformatics, cancer, biology, microbiology, developmental biology, cell biology and physiology.
