We need you -- a compassionate STEM major who is excited to teach math to elementary and middle school students in Baltimore by working in a small group setting each week.  The students at Lakeland Elementary/Middle will benefit from your support when you teach the same 3-5 students during the daily intervention block between 1-3pm.  The school is located ten minutes from the UMBC campus, and carpooling can be arranged.  Based on the needs of students, you will work with school-based staff to design thoughtful math experiences that develop basic skills and engage students in rigorous math problems!
