This internship is designed to provide students with a well-rounded experience in recruitment, training, tracking and supporting of volunteers in a non-profit institution.
Animal Keeper and Behavior Intern - ID #9287423
The Animal Department at The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore offers internship opportunities to undergraduate students working toward a degree in animal science, zoology, biology, wildlife conservation, animal behavior, behavioral biology or other related fields. Recent graduates may also be considered. This internship is designed to provide students with a well rounded experience that covers not only the physical elements of basic animal husbandry, but the behavioral aspect as well.

Interns will also have the opportunity to complete an independent project based on their learning objectives.
Graphic Design Intern - ID #9287429
The Creative Services department at The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore offers internship opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students working toward a degree in graphic design. Recent graduates may also be considered. This internship is designed to provide students with a well-rounded experience in traditional print design and the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of clients from throughout the Zoo. Interns will work side by side with experienced designers during their daily routine.
