The Kennedy Krieger Institute has an opening for a full-time, entry-level Research Assistant I and Research Assistant II.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Research Assistant I will be responsible for providing research support to a neurological principal investigator and the head of Kennedy Krieger Institute-Johns Hopkins Medicine Sturge-Weber Syndrome Center. The Research Assistant II will perform a variety of duties in support of the research goals, objectives and protocols while functioning within the Neurology & Developmental Medicine Practice.
EDUCATION:
BA/BS in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Bioinformatics & Computational Biology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry/Biochemistry, Chemical/Biochemical/ Environmental Engineering,
EXPERIENCE:
1 year experience with biomedical or social research experience preferred.
Familiarity with child development and knowledge of human genetics is preferred.
