POSITION: Social Media and Digital Communications Intern
ORGANIZATION: Logix Healthcare Search Partners (Maxim Healthcare Services)
LOCATION: Towson, MD
Paid: $12 / hr
Approximately 20 hours per week
DESCRIPTION: This position will serve as a principal assistant to the executive search consultant staff. The Social Media and Digital Communications Intern is expected to have experience with social media on a personal level (use on a business level preferred). This person must be able to think strategically and see how social media fits into a business’ marketing strategy, not just “selling” to our candidates, but building relationships by providing long-lasting value to them. The intern must be able to assist in formulating social media plans, and then carry them out. The intern must be able to measure and document the impact of social media, and then suggest action-steps to increase impact.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES DESIRED:
- Strong editing and proofreading skills, “gift of gab” is a plus
- Strong knowledge of social media – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, blogs, etc.
- High proficiency with electronic media and website development
- Some knowledge of basic HTML and WordPress content management systems
- High energy, strong professional ambition, with a desire to grow a business through online presence
- Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and think and write creatively
- Ability to contribute individually and participate in cross-functional teams
- Ability to use multi-function printer
