Children Achieving Maximum Potential (ChAMP), is a Maryland Autism Waiver Service Provider committed to providing high-quality therapeutic services for children with autism in their homes and communities. ChAMP was founded under the principle that children with autism can reach their maximum potential through strategically designed therapeutic interventions. They appreciate the challenges families of children with autism endure while meeting the critical behavioral, social, and educational needs that are unique to children with autism and related disorders.
Currently, ChAMP is recruiting students for their PAID part-time position of Autism Therapist. To learn more and to apply, search for job number 9276757 in UMBCworks. Students studying Biology, Education, and Psychology are strongly encouraged to apply, however, any student with an interest or background in Autism are welcome as well. Depending on your major, there is a potential for academic credit (for questions regarding credit, contact the Career Center, internships@umbc.edu).
Students are also invited to attend an information session with ChAMP on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 12:00-12:50PM in Commons 331.
