Under Armour’s Intern program offers current college students the chance to get inside the world’s most dynamic brand in sports. The paid internship experience is open to students graduating from an undergraduate program between January 2015 and May 2015.
Interns at Under Armour will be key players in helping us further our mission of making all athletes better through passion, design, and the relentless pursuit of innovation. Interns will spend their summer making an impact on their team, learning from others through mentoring, networking, and training, and experiencing what it’s like to live in a great city working for a fast-paced, innovative, and growing company.
Spring 2015 Intern Position Responsibilities
The Brand Marketing, Creative Production Intern will assist in executing the Brand message to the Under Armour consumer. Support the day-to-day activities of the Creative team. The internship requires a proactive, open personality, to seek out opportunities and projects. This will be a great platform for the chosen candidate to display his/her skills to many Under Armour teammates and build strong working relationships.

What you’ll do as the Brand Marketing Creative/Video Intern:
- Disseminate media coverage/product placement hits and scanning key placements
- Monitor the archive of footage (Logging/Transferring footage)
- Assist with video shoots
- Support team on major brand initiatives
- Administrative needs (shipping/tracking/product accumulation)
What UA is looking for in their Brand Marketing Creative/Video Intern:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and video production software
- Proven analytical skills
- High degree of verbal and written communication skills, and the ability effectively and concisely present information at all levels
- Ability to mulit-task in a fast paced environment, and work as part of a team
- Proven ability to think critically, problem solve, analyze needs, and offer solutions
Additional Skills and Experience
- Must be currently enrolled in a four year full time degree program with related degree e.g. communications, public relations, design, film and media, etc.
- Previous internship or work related experience in a production or marketing department is a plus
- Exceptional written or oral communication skills
- Proven attention to detail
Duration:
Jan 2014 – May 2014 (Work 2 days a week/ 16 hours per week)
- 75% of the time will be spent at the capture station
- The remaining time depending on the week will be spent either at the capture station (archiving/logging/transferring footage) or assisting with video shoots
