PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
As a T. Rowe Price Part Time intern you will have an opportunity to work on business critical data gathering and analysis of several high profile initiatives. While developing an understanding of our current processes, data gathering, organization, and trend analysis we would look to you to identify gaps and make recommendations for improvements to current procedures. Additionally, you will be expected to
provide an external, unbiased perspective on projects and challenges by objectively analyzing the results before recommending changes to the current process. This part time internship will provide you with a broader perspective of T. Rowe Price and assist you in understanding the importance of communication and collaboration in a multi-faceted work environment while concurrently providing our current associates with a fresh perspective on existing processes.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Evaluate current processes and procedures including documentation of those processes and procedures as defined by the business
• Define ways to measure the effectiveness of these processes and procedures
• Analyze data to identify areas of opportunity and efficiency
• Prescribe a plan for implementation of changes and ways to monitor performance
• Present findings to managers during each step of the process
• Manage other ad-hoc projects/tasks with primary focus on data review, analysis, and presentation of results
• Assist with coordination of various department and site events such as Department Quarterly
Business Update Meetings, site employee morale functions, or site Community Outreach events
