UMBC will award two scholarships to deserving UMBC students for academic
year 2013-2014 in recognition of the accomplishments and contributions
of Jacqueline C. Hrabowski.
Selection Criteria
The scholarship recipient will be recognized based upon her/his commitment to improving the lives of at-risk urban youth through academic studies and community service activities.
Candidate should be a full-time, degree-seeking student at UMBC, enrolled in her/his junior or senior year with a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Candidate will be required to submit a resume and an unofficial transcript.
Candidate should submit a 500-word essay explaining actions that she/he has participated in that have contributed to improving the lives of Baltimore City youth.
