As a member of the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM) Flight Operations Team (FOT):
Certify in TRMM Real-Time Operations.
Conduct TRMM real-time flight operations; maintain general console records documenting both real-time Spacecraft and MOC ground system operations.
Become an expert with the TRMM Mission Operations Center (MOC) Telemetry & Command (T&C) system.
Perform TRMM real-time operations proficiently, following proper protocol in: real-time commanding, uplink of stored command loads, completion of operations documentation, management of non-critical onboard and ground anomalies.
Assist in development of relevant operations products: CECIL procedures, telemetry displays, trending product templates, Local Operating Procedures (LOP’s).
Participate in testing, verification and validation of operations products and the T&C ground system / offline upgrade efforts.
Perform routine trending and engineering analysis for one or more assigned ground and space segment subsystems.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled in an engineering undergraduate program at an accredited college or university.
