<Title>USE CAUTION - Email Scams Are Being Sent Daily*</Title>

    <div class="html-content"><p>The UMBC Career Center works very hard to ensure that job postings in Handshake are legitimate positions, and Handshake has shown to be a very reliable source to find great opportunities. However, scammers are becoming more and more creative and they are circumventing Handshake.</p>
    <p>***We have recently seen an uptick in fraudulent job offers emailed directly from scammers to students posing as legitimate employers. ***</p>
        <p><strong>Please see the following example of the most recent email scam. THIS IS FRAUDULENT: It is not from UMBC or Career Services.</strong></p>
