The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Japanese Exchange Program is a ten day exchange program during Spring Break with the Embassy of Japan. The program dates are March 14, 2017 – March 24, 2017 and the application deadline is Monday, January 23, 2017. This program is geared toward African-American juniors, seniors, graduate students, and recent graduates (May 2014 or later), who live, work, or attend schools in CBC Member Districts. Students can visit house.gov to determine their Congressional representation based on where they live, work, or attend school.
In addition, the CBCF Emerging Leaders: US-China Study Abroad Program is now accepting applications for the summer 2017 cohort. The program dates are June 1, 2017 – June 18, 2017 and the application deadline is Sunday, February 26, 2017. This program is geared toward African-American STEM, Business, and International Affairs majors who live or attend schools in CBC Member Districts. This program is for students in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of undergraduate education.
