    <span>The </span><a href="http://music.umbc.edu/ensembles/collegium/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo"><span>UMBC Collegium Musicum</span></a><span>, directed by </span><a href="http://music.umbc.edu/faculty-and-staff/johnson/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Lindsay Johnson</a><span>, is dedicated to the exploration and performance of vocal and instrumental music from the European Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque periods, sampling musical repertoires created between 800 and 1750. The ensemble explores convention and innovation by pairing music that pushed boundaries in its time with music that followed stylistic conventions.</span><div><span><br></span></div>

    <br><p><span>On behalf of the Student Executive Committee of the Korea-America Student Conference, I am pleased to share with you this exciting opportunity for current students at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. </span></p>
    <p></p>
    <p><span>The </span><span>Korea-America Student Conference</span><span>(KASC)</span><span> is a three-week academic and cultural conference focused on educating the next generation of leaders on US-Korea and regional issues. KASC is currently recruiting for its 11th delegation, to comprise of 18 American and 18 Korean undergraduate and graduate students. The 11th KASC will convene in </span><span>Missoula, Montana</span><span>;</span><span> Seattle, Washington</span><span>;</span><span> Busan, South Korea</span><span>; and</span><span> Seoul, South Korea </span><span>from </span><span><span><span>July 20 - August 10, 2018</span></span></span><span>. </span></p>
    <br><p><span>KASC delegates will have the opportunity to engage in full and frank dialogue outside the traditional classroom setting and will hold roundtable discussions on the topics of: </span><span>International Relations</span><span>;</span><span> Business</span><span>;</span><span> Energy and Environment</span><span>; and</span><span> Media and Culture</span><span>. Delegates will meet with prominent leaders from business, government, and academia; engage in cultural and professional exchange in the United States and South Korea; and participate in forums that will better prepare them for their respective future careers. </span></p>
