RPC is looking to add a member to the team who will be responsible for a wide-range of bookkeeping functions. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced candidate who is looking to work 10 to 15 hours a week.
Job Duties:
• Oversee and be the main point of contact for all account receivable & payable duties, including processing tenant invoices and vendor checks.
• Ensure new tenants are set-up with accuracy, timeliness and proper documentation.
• Handle collections.
• Ensure all general ledger entries in QuickBooks are up-to-date and maintained in a timely manner.
• Complete all banking functions – payments/deposits, incoming/outgoing wires and bank reconciliations.
• Process payroll every two weeks.
• Complete month-end and year-end financials.
• Assist in the preparation for the annual audit and budget by performing such duties as providing related documentation, preparing various accounting summaries and reports.
• Perform annual CAM reconciliations and assembles the necessary detail and back-up for the tenant’s use.
• Respond to inquiries and requests and follow up to resolve errors and discrepancies.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
• Associate Degree or Bachelor’s degree; preferably with a background in Accounting or Business; five plus years related experience.
• Strong computer skills: Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks a must.
• Solid communication skills (written and verbal) and comfort communicating with tenants and other staff.
• Ability to work as a team and also independently under minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependable.
Position Details:
• Part-time requiring 10 to 15 hours /week.
• Contractual position, no benefits.
• Six month probationary period.
• Compensation starting at $22/hr.
