Join us in celebrating seven ambitious entrepreneurs as they pitch their new ventures in a dynamic Shark Tank-style showcase. A panel of expert judges will evaluate each presentation based on pitch quality, commercial viability, and market potential, and award cash prizes to the top teams.
Now in its sixth year, bwtech's Maryland NEW VENTURE Program continues to turn promising ideas into launch-ready companies. Each founder is supported by an experienced mentor and a team of UMBC graduate fellows, working together to refine strategy and accelerate progress. Over the past four months, these seven teams have strengthened their value propositions, validated market opportunities, and advanced their technologies in preparation for commercialization.
