Laura is a third year undergraduate at UMBC studying Chemical Engineering. During the summer after her freshman year, she had the opportunity to monitor greenhouse gas emissions for a Titanium Dioxide Manufacturing Company and took an interest in developing alternate fuel soon after. She currently serves as a Sustainability Intern for the SGA and Secretary of Biodiesel, and she hopes to spread the club's sustainable initiatives to the UMBC community. She has an interest in Environmental Science and Engineering, and would like to pursue a degree or career in this field after graduation. 

Aside from her studies, Laura enjoys listening to music, playing the violin, running, and philosophy.
