Sophomore Michael Pesci (Parsippany, N.J./DePaul Catholic) hit a solo home run in the fourth and fellow sophomore Max Himmelstein (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) drove in junior Rick Phillips (Gaithersburg, Md./Gaithersburg) in the eighth as the UMBC baseball team won the second game of a doubleheader at Navy, 2-1, Saturday afternoon to earn a split on the day. The Retrievers (4-11) fell to the Midshipmen (16-6), 1-0, in the first game.
