Full Title: Dr. Charles Brown Promoted to Associate Vice President; Athletics to Become Part of Division of Student AffairsUMBC's Dr. Charles Brown has been promoted to Associate Vice President & Director of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation, President Dr. Freeman Hrabowski announced on Friday, June 17. Dr. Brown will begin his 22nd year at the helm of the Retrievers this fall. Moreover, the Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation will become part of the Division of Student Affairs, led by Vice President Dr. Nancy Young.
