Full Title: Men's Lacrosse Standout Scott Jones Voted UMBC Athlete of the Month for AprilBALTIMORE�Sophomore attackman Scott Jones of the men's lacrosse team was named UMBC Athlete of the Month for April 2011 in a poll of fans conducted from May 2-8. Jones received 337 of 854 total votes (39.5 percent) to edge runner-up Gaulthier Berret of men's tennis (297 votes, 34.7 percent). Julia Culotta of softball, Alicia Krause of women's lacrosse and Sara Parkinson of women's track and field were also nominated.
