Full Title: Phil Poe Named America East Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the WeekCambridge, Mass. � UMBC freshman midfielder Phil Poe (Harwood, Md./DeMatha) has been named America East Conference Men's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week for games ending April 10, 2011.
Poe has taken over as UMBC's primary face-off specialist and helped guide the Retrievers to a pair of hard-fought victories last week. He won 13 of 21 draws in the 10-9 win over Towson and split 16 draws in the 8-6 victory over Binghamton.
