BALTIMORE�The UMBC softball team (13-9) extended its winning streak to eight games with an impressive offensive performance in a doubleheader sweep of Temple (10-14) Tuesday afternoon at UMBC Softball Stadium. The Retrievers took the first game, 8-5, then won the nightcap, 12-4, in five innings.
