STONY BROOK, N.Y.�Sophomore forward Erin Brown posted her first double-double of the season, but the UMBC women's basketball team (13-16, 7-9 AE) dropped its season finale to America East rival Stony Brook (9-19, 7-9 AE) Saturday afternoon at Pritchard Gymnasium. The teams finish in a three-way tie for fourth place with Binghamton, but by virtue of tiebreaker rules, the Retrievers will earn the No. 6 seed and will take on No. 3 Boston University in the quarterfinals of the America East Championship on Friday.
