BALTIMORE�The UMBC women's lacrosse team (2-2) played its second nationally-ranked team in five days, and fell to the 13th-ranked Vanderbilt Commodores (1-2), 17-10, at UMBC Stadium. UMBC junior midfielder Amanda Pappas was the Retrievers' America East Player of the Game, leading the home team with three goals. Junior midfielder Ashley Stodter and sophomore attack Emily Coady added two goals each.
