Full Title: Women's Basketball Standout Michelle Kurowski Named UMBC Athlete of the Month for DecemberBALTIMORE�Junior guard Michelle Kurowski of the women's basketball team was named UMBC Athlete of the Month for December 2010 in a poll of fans conducted from Jan. 2-9. Kurowski received 63.6 percent of the vote to outdistance herself from men's basketball point guard Chris De La Rosa, who received the remaining 39.4 percent.
