Full Title: Men's Basketball Travels To Rider for Wednesday Contest With the BroncsThere is not any better time for the UMBC men's basketball team to prove they can play the defensive side of the game as the Retrievers travel to Rider for a Wednesday, Dec. 8 match-up at Alumni Gym. UMBC is third from the bottom nationally in field goal percentage defense (50%), while Rider (5-4) is 25th in field goal efficiency (49%). Fans can catch all the action on Fox 1370 Sports Radio (www.fox1370.com) with Gary Stein and Paul Mittermeier on the call, beginning with the pregame show at 7:25 p.m.
