BALTIMORE- For the third consecutive game, UMBC's Pete Caringi III scored a pair of goals and the senior striker led the Retrievers to a 3-1 victory over Central Connecticut State in the Hampton Inn BWI Classic played at Retriever Soccer Park. UMBC improved to 3-0-0 for the first time since 2009, while Central dropped to 0-3-0. Caringi moved into a tie for ninth place on the school's all-time goals list. He scored multiple goals for the seventh time in his career.
