BALTIMORE- Junior Geaton Caltabiano (Lothian, Md./Mount St. Joseph) scored four minutes into the contest and the UMBC defense made the goal stand up as the Retrievers blanked American, 1-0, in their final preseason tune-up on August 23 at Retriever Soccer Park. UMBC opens the regular season by welcoming Seattle University to Retriever Soccer Park on Fri., Aug. 30 at 7:00 p.m.
