The UMBC women's basketball team tips off its 2010-11 season on Friday evening at Delaware. Despite the loss of the program's second all-time leading scorer in Carlee Cassidy, the Retrievers return four starters from last year's squad, including junior guard Michelle Kurowski, who has ranked in the top 10 in the league in scoring in each of her first two seasons at UMBC, as well as junior center Topé Obajolu, who really stepped up in America East action last year, averaging nearly 10 points per game.
