Full Title: Women's Track and Field Finishes Fifth at America East Indoor Championships
The UMBC women's track and field team, picked to finish eighth in the conference, exceeded expectations and placed fifth in the 2010 America East Indoor Championships. Freshman Amanda Deller (Aberdeen, Md./Aberdeen), who placed third in the weight throw on Friday, earned gold in the shot put Saturday in Boston.
