Cambridge, Mass.- UMBC's Liam Paddock (Worcestershire, England/Chase Technology College) has been named 2013 America East Conference Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the league announced today. Paddock, a four-year letterwinner in the sport of men's soccer, becomes UMBC's first male athlete to capture the league's top academic award.
