BALTIMORE � UMBC junior midfielder Kristen Bilney of the women's lacrosse team has been named the UMBC Athlete of the Month for April 2013, in a poll conducted from May 7-14. Bilney won the vote over baseball's Rob McCabe, men's lacrosse's Pat Young, tennis' Daniel Gray and Josefin Stange-Jonsson, softball's Taylor Hall and track and field's Mercedes Jackson and Trae Proctor.
