Blacksburg, Va.�UMBC's women's tennis team competed at the 17th annual Hokie Invitational on Oct. 1-3. Sophomore Heidi Danielsson advanced to the quarterfinal round in Flight E singles with a victory over Alexandra Smyth of Richmond, 6-3, 6-3. She combined with senior Emily Mannix to reach the semifinal round in Flight C doubles.
