BALTIMORE- Visiting Towson used a late 5-0 run to overcome a UMBC lead and defeated the Retrievers, 12-9, in blustery conditions at UMBC Stadium. UMBC was led by freshman midfielder Pat Young, who scored three goals and added an assist and junior face-off specialist Phil Poe, who controlled 15 of 25 draws. The Retrievers never trailed in the game until 1:29 remained in the third quarter.
