CAMBRIDGE, Mass. � UMBC junior catcher Brandon Coluccio was named the America East Player of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon. Coluccio hit .583 (7-for-12) as the Retrievers went 2-2 last week, losing to Georgetown mid-week, but taking two of three from conference-rival Binghamton to open league play last weekend.
