ALBANY- The sixth-seeded UMBC Retrievers hit 15-of-19 second half field goal attempts and rallied to defeat No. 3 Hartford, 69-62, to advance to the America East semifinals for the fourth time in the last seven seasons.
UMBC (8-22) to play No. 2 Vermont (20-10),a 61-42 winner over No. 7 New Hampshire at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Senior guards Ryan Cook (24) and Brian Neller (20) scored 44 of UMBC's 69 points.
