Early in the second half, UMBC women's lacrosse came within three, 9-6, of No. 1 Maryland, but the Terrapins scored five unanswered over the next 3:21 to shut the door on the Retrievers and remain undefeated with a 17-10 victory on Tuesday night at the Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex.
