Boston, Mass.- Despite a torrid shooting display by visiting UMBC, the Boston University Terriers outscored the Retrievers, 81-75 at Case Gymnasium. The Retrievers hit season highs in both field goal percentage (31-of-59, 52.5%) and 3-point field goals (12), but the Terriers converted on 19-of-31 shots from the floor in the second half to outlast UMBC.
UMBC junior forward Chase Plummer (Plainfield, N.J./St. Patrick) posted a double-double, scoring 16 of his 19 points in the second half and adding a game-high 11 rebounds.
